Women are complicated, but ever more so in Cuba. They are proud and independent, striving to make their place in a world still dominated by men. This one, she's a volcano, erupting with emotions. Running hot and cool at the same time. And it is truly this ever-changing palette that makes me want so to capture her. While I am true to her external beauty, I attempt to portray her complicado with color, motion and energy.
