The Jerry in Jerry's Place is
Jerry Richardson who is the owner of the Carolina Panthers. Mr. Richardson
owned this cabin and it is located near Boone in the North Carolina mountains.
Mr. Richardson's employees wanted to surprise him with a special gift. Knowing
that he loved Bob Timberlake's art, they asked Bob to do the painting which
was presented to Mr. Richardson at a surprise reception at the Greenville
County Museum of Art in Greenville, South Carolina where Bob was holding an
exhibition. Note the old logging roads through the woods in the background.
