This painting was done at the back door of the Riverwood studio (It used to be the front door in the old days, but they started using the back of the house as the front). The detail in this work is phenomenal. We actually counted the number of annual lines in one of the boards on the door facing and the painting had the same number of annual lines!!! The flowers were put out for their daily sunning. Note the old buttermilk red paint on the door at the top where the weather doesn't hasn't faded it.
