A native of Winston-Salem, David Doss now
resides in Pfafftown with his wife, Robin, and their two daughters. He has
been a professional artist for over ten years and is nationally recognized for
his ability to capture the essence of a traditional rural Southern landscape
with his great attention to detail.
Doss works in both watercolors
and oils. Many of his limited-edition prints have reached sell-out status. His
work is included in several private and corporate collections including
Wachovia and RJR Tobacco Company. Doss utilizes his art to help others through
many fund-raising events and organizations. He was chosen as the First Night
Piedmont Artist of 1996 and as the "Artist to Watch" for 1997 by US Art.
